FOURWINDS, the electrifying Irish traditional band, proudly announces their second album, Allta, designed to capture the hearts of folk lovers worldwide. Following their debut, “Allta”, meaning “wild” or “untamed” in Irish, reflects the band’s evolving sound and deep connection to Irish tradition. This 11-track album combines four songs and seven instrumental pieces, blending original compositions like “The Road to Cul Ros” with traditional favorites such as “The Rainy Day.” Known for their high-octane performances and creative approach to tradition, FOURWINDS draws inspiration from legends like Planxty and The Bothy Band, blending old and new with raw, unbridled energy.
